The Cards in Brief

Our first cards in 1994 and 1995 reproduced paintings by landscape painter Philip Koch who was John’s college roommate.

Beginning in 1996 and through 2009, Alfred Gonzalez and his Gallery 71 in our Manhattan neighborhood provided and printed the cards. Each of those cards depicts a wintry scene of New York City, Central Park in particular, by the artist Marion Welch. From 2010 through 2017, the very talented and imaginative Karen Rossi designed our cards and brought to life the content we provided her.

For the cards from 2018 - 2021, we worked directly with Mike Glynn and Prentis Printing Solutions to design and print the cards. Over the years, John’s Administrative Assistant Jeanne Northrop from International Paper days and her daughter Mary Ann Rimes contributed to the design of many of the cards. Jeanne continues to do so.
