In 1994, we sent our first Christmas card announcing that “Our landscape has changed” from Greenwich Village, where we lived our first 15 years in NYC, to the Upper East Side, two blocks from Marymount Manhattan College where Carol was an English Professor for 35 years.
This year’s card - 2020 - is the 27th card in unbroken succession. We didn’t plan it that way. And we didn’t systematically or intentionally save the cards over the years. John just tossed extra cards into a box in the closet each year. A year ago, John sorted through the box and discovered that we had at least one card for each year since inception.
So here we are.
John has worked with our very talented friend, Daniel Honick, to bring this website alive. We provided the “raw materials,” but Dan contributed the creativity and did all the work.
Each card can be reviewed in its entirety in the “View the Cards” section which follows.
